Christine Tucker, LCSW

I believe every person has the power to transform their lives. My goal as a therapist is to facilitate a journey of healing, one through which you not only become more resilient and confident, but befriend and understand your truest self.

I'm passionate about helping each of my clients, and so I set out to create a collaborative atmosphere in our sessions where openness and understanding can flourish. Every session, then, becomes an opportunity for us to explore and discover the next step toward your overall growth.

I specialize in complex trauma (CPTSD), along with attachment trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and depression. These afflictions are often linked to family issues and struggles experienced early on in life. Relational disruptions early in life can influence our struggles in adulthood. In my practice, I prioritize cultivating a secure and attuned therapeutic relationship as I believe it serves as a vital model for healthy connections, especially for clients who have not experienced them before.

My approach, rooted in compassion, open-mindedness, and empathy, integrates holistic modalities such as CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic awareness, and coherence therapy to reshape perspectives and update unconscious beliefs. Experienced with Borderline Personality Disorder, I employ unique bottom-up modalities that target specific regions of the brain for deep healing and address “stuck” emotions in the body.
